ZOOM AIRPORT PARKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. General
Customers should read these terms and conditions carefully and follow the procedures described below.
2. Storage and Vehicle Contents
- Zoom Airport Parking Glasgow do not insure:
- Loose items left in vehicles
- Mechanical or electrical failures
- The car park owners are not responsible for loss or damage to any property left in vehicles, regardless of how it occurs.
- Claims will not be accepted once the vehicle has left the car park premises.
- Customers must check their vehicle before departure.
3. Parking Availability
- If your chosen car park becomes unavailable, we will contact you within 48 hours by email, phone, or letter to:
- Offer an alternative car park, or
- Inform you that no spaces are available so you can make other arrangements
4. Prices and Charges
- Prices are those shown on the website at the time of booking.
- If your stay exceeds the booked period, additional days will be charged at the daily rate.
- No refunds are provided for unused parking days.
- All parking charges must be paid in full before your vehicle is released.
- Special offers will be displayed on the website when available.
- Commercial vehicles (including vans, pickups, camper vans, long wheelbase or oversized vehicles) are not accepted.
- If such a vehicle arrives, it may be refused entry or charged a £25 surcharge (subject to change).
5. VAT
- All prices include VAT at the current UK rate.
6. Payment Terms
- Payment can be made:
- On departure (major credit cards & Apple Pay)
- In advance via the online booking form (credit/debit cards only)
- Cancellations of prepaid bookings:
- Must be in writing
- No refunds within 7 days of departure
- Earlier cancellations receive credit for future use (no cash refund)
7. Online Booking
- After submitting an online booking form, you will receive an email confirmation with:
- Booking number
- Number of parking days
- Total cost
- This confirms your parking space is reserved.
- If you fail to arrive on the booked date, the Company may release your space to another customer.
- Personal data will be handled in line with the privacy statement.
8. Liability
The Company accepts liability only where required by law, and only where loss or injury is proven to be caused by its negligence, breach of statutory duty, or wilful default.
The Company accepts no liability for:
- Loss or damage to items left in vehicles
- Windscreens, glass, or tyres
- Items stored in coach luggage compartments
- Fraudulent collection of vehicles where receipts/instructions are lost
- Service delays due to events outside its control (traffic, weather, flight delays, security alerts, etc.)
- Theft of or damage to vehicles, unless caused by proven gross negligence of employees
- Consequential or indirect losses (e.g. car hire, hotels)
Security measures (such as CCTV and patrols) are not guaranteed to operate at all times or prevent incidents.
9. Parking and Key Handling
- Customers should retain their own car keys.
- Selfparked vehicles are not inspected and are parked entirely at the customer’s risk.
10. Damage and Accidents
- Any damage caused to another vehicle or the car park must be reported immediately to staff.
- Customers consent to the sharing of relevant information with:
- Other vehicle owners
- Insurers
- Police (if appropriate)
11. Vehicle Lien and NonPayment
- The Company has a lien over vehicles for unpaid charges.
- If payment is not made within 28 days of notice:
- The vehicle may be sold
- Sale proceeds will cover outstanding charges and costs
- Any remaining balance will be held for the vehicle’s registered owner
12. Vehicle Movement
- The Company may move vehicles within or outside the car park for safety or operational reasons.
- This may include driving the vehicle on public roads if necessary.
13. Transport to the Airport
- Customers agree to share transport to and from the airport.
- Customers must arrive:
- At least 20 minutes before car park checkin
- At least 2 hours before flight departure
- The Company is not responsible if a customer misses a flight due to delays or getting lost.
14. Vehicle Collection
- Vehicles will only be released on production of the parking receipt.
- If someone else is collecting your vehicle:
- Written consent must be provided
- The collector must bring a copy of this consent
15. Changes to Terms
- The Company may amend these terms at any time.
- Updated terms will be posted on the website.
